Muslim Rights In Marriage

by INFIDEL on February 28, 2011

For some reason listening to someone tell me about the blessing of Allah and being a Muslim reminds me of the the scene in Pinochio during the jackass transformation because we’re told that freedom is found in Allah and that if we would just trust Muhammad that there would be peace in the world. But think about it. If a religion is solely based on growth because of family and violence what does that tell you about its worth? It tells me that it is just as bankrupt and worthless as GM.

Well, the point of the post is about Muslim rights in marriage. No matter what verses they use about the blessings of a muslim marriage I can’t get over Surah 4. BTY, keep in mind that Muhammad was the gold digger in that Khadija was the business owner who had riches and Muhammad had NOTHING!

Men are in charge of women, because Allah hath made the one of them to excel the other, and because they spend of their property (for the support of women). So good women are the obedient, guarding in secret what Allah hath guarded. As for those from whom ye fear rebellion, admonish them and banish them to beds apart, and scourge them. Then if they obey you, seek not a way against them. Lo! Allah is ever High Exalted, Great.

Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in the sleeping-places and beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great.

Men are the protectors And maintainers of women, Because Allah has given The one more (strength) Than the other, and because They support them From their means. Therefore the righteous women Are devoutly obedient, and guard In (the husband’s) absence What Allah would have them guard. As to those women On whose part ye fear Disloyalty and ill-conduct, Admonish them (first), (Next), refuse to share their beds, (And last) beat them (lightly); But if they return to obedience, Seek not against them Means (of annoyance): For Allah is Most High, Great (above you all).

Take a read of Muhammad’s Low Opinion of Women

Now watch this video and tell me if this lines up:

Here is a few of the text below:

And marry such of you as are single, and the pious of your slaves and maidservants. If they be poor, Allah will enrich them of His bounty. Allah is of ample means, Knowing” [Sura 24.32]

“And it is He who has created man from water, then, He has made for blood-relationship and marriage relationship; for your Lord is All-Powerful” [Sura 25.54]

“And of his signs is that He created for you wives from your ownkind that you may find comfort and tranquility with them, and (that HE) has put between you love and tenderness. Herein are signs for a folk who reflect” Sura 30.21

“They (your wives) are a garment unto you and you are a garment unto them” Sura 2.187

And they (women) have rights similar to those of men over them in kindness, and men are a degree above them, for Allah is Might, Wise” Sura 2.228

“Men have pre-eminence above women because Allah has made the one of them to excel the other, and because they spend of their property (for the support of women). So the good women are obedient and in the absence of their husbands guard their rights as Allah has enjoined it to be guarded” Sura 4. 34

And feed and clothe them from it and speak kindly unto them” Sura 4.5

But consort with them in kindness, for if you hate them it may happen that you hate a thing wherein Allah has placed much good” Sura 4.19

The Prophet (saw) has said: “When a man has got himself married, he has made his religion half perfect. Then let him fear Allah for the remaining half”

The Prophet (saw) has said: “Fear Allah concerning women, verily you have taken them on the security of Allah and have made them private parts lawful by pronouncing the word of Allah. You have a right over them that they shall not commit immodesty in your absence. If they do that you can chastise them without being oppressive. They also have aright over you that you shall provide them with clothes and food in a befitting manner.
